High efficiency Organoclay Rheological Additive modified from Sodium bentonite clay powder.When Organophilic clay is incorporated into paints formulations,provides reproducible rheology characteristics, following benefits,perfect thickening ability,high thixotropy,good suspension and pigment sag resistance etc.

CP-27 is an organo clay (modified montmorillonite), designed especially for use in solvent based system. It is used especially in solvents of high polarity. It is suggested to be used to replace Bentone27 and Bentone57.

Bentonite clay powder Storage

Organoclay Rheological Additive CP-27 Store in a dry, well-ventilated area with temperature of 0℃-30℃.  Keep container closed. The quality guarantee period is 24 months.

Bentonite clay powder Using

CP-27 disperses under high shear and requires a polar activator for best efficiency. Heat is not required to obtain good dispersion. Addition levels are typically in 0.2%~2.0%. Normally addition level of polar activator (95% Ethanol or 95% Methanol) is recommended to be 45%~60% of CP-27 in weight.
