CP-WET Wetting agent is a specialized surfactant to Oil-wet drill solids in the oil-based drilling fluid systems. Functions as a wetting agent, also can improves emulsion stability, improves thermal stability and contamination resistance.

Oilfield wetting agent CP-WET is a powerful oil wetting agent for oil base mud. It is mainly made from oil fatty acid and its poly amine salt. It is effective in oil-wetting barite and drill solids, thereby preventing these solids from water-wetting, which risks system stability. And CP-WET can reduce the adverse effects of water contamination.
